Welcome to Oxfordshire Gang Show!

Charity Race Night, raising funds for Oxfordshire Gang Show.

Saturday, 17 November 2018 from 18:30-21:30
Edward Field Primary School, Bicester Road, Kidlington OX5 2LG

We need as many people to attend as possible – guests, families, friends. As long as they are up for a laugh and bring plenty of pennies, a sense of humour and competitive spirit, they are very welcome.

You need to complete the quick survey first so we have an idea of numbers and can make sure the paddock is set up in good time and with plenty of seating. Please use the link below, rather than replying via Facebook.

Attendees can bring their own drinks and we will run the tuck shop for munchies.

There is a small charge to enter the paddock (£1 for adults, 50p for under 16s) and then plenty of chances to lighten your pockets with bets, horse ownership and jockey fees once we get started.

This is a family friendly, fun night out with free parking and great company. We need this to event to be a huge success so that we can add much-needed funds to our budget for this year’s Show.

Let’s get the word out as quickly as possible and fill the hall with laughter!

What is Gang Show?

Gang show is a family variety show performed by Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Guides, Explorers, Guide Senior Section, Network and Leaders (in Oxfordshire all the cast is U25).

Gang Shows happen all over the country and the world.  The show is made up of a number of short items that are put together to make a show.  The items might be comedy/serious sketches, dance items, musical items involving singing, dancing and acting.

Our aim is to give a fantastic rewarding theatrical experience to any youth member (8 years old – 25 years old) of either movement that want to have ago!  It is hard work but great fun and we hope all the Gang have a blast!

Rehearsals are now well underway for 2019’s show.  Please come and see us at Radley College Theatre 19th – 23rd February 2019.
